New members of the Management Board of Work Service S.A.


On 13 April 2016, the Supervisory Board appointed two new members to the Management Board of Work Service S.A. Adam Pawłowicz and Piotr Gajek will replace Dariusz Rochman and Hubert Rozpędek, who will be leaving the company.

Dariusz Rochman and Hubert Rozpędek have been heavily involved in the growth of the Work Service Group. They were both actively engaged in building our standing in Poland and on international markets, for which I am very thankful. It is, among other things, due to their efforts that Work Service is now leading the HR service sector in Central and Eastern Europe. We are present in 17 markets,” said Maciej Witucki, President of the Management Board of Work Service S.A.

The newly-appointed members of the Management Board of Work Service S.A. are managers with many years of experience. Adam Pawłowicz has extensive management, executive and transactional experience in various areas of business. In the years 2009-2014, he served as President of the Management Board of Konsalnet Holding. He also held the position of President of the Management Board of Ruch S.A. and of Marketing and Development Director at the Polish office of White & Case. He also served as President of the Polish Foreign Investment Agency. He is a Member of the Supervisory Board at Work Service International and the Chairman of the Supervisory Board Gdańsk Economic Development Agency. He will take over full responsibility for the Polish temporary staffing market, combining the former sales and operations functions of Work Service. As part of his recruitment and HR consulting responsibility, he will supervise the Group companies Antal International and Work Service Professionals. He graduated from the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, and completed an MBA programme at the University of Calgary and the IESE Business School in Barcelona.

Piotr Gajek spent many years in the consulting business, he was in charge of the strategy and business transformation programmes for Orange. In the years 2009-2013, he was an executive director at Orange Polska responsible for customer relationship management strategies and for the transformation of the Orange Polska Group. Earlier, in the years 1992-2002, he worked at Arthur Andersen, and in the years 2002-2009, he was a partner at EY Business Advisory. At Work Service, he will take over the responsibilities of Hubert Rozpędek, and will also strive to ensure that the Group achieves the best possible investment and cost performance. He graduated from the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the Warsaw University of Technology. He completed management programmes at the Kellogg School of Management in the United States of America and at the IMD in Switzerland.
