Work Service continues its expansion - Antal International Sp. z o.o. and Work Express Sp. z o.o. join the group


Antal International Sp. z o.o. and Work Express are two Companies which, for total amount of PLN 70m, will be purchased by Work Service this year, thus strengthening the Capital Group with their competences. Antal is a leader of Polish market of specialists and managers recruitment. Thanks to that acquisition, Work Service Group takes on a strategic position in the dynamically growing market of recruitment services. Thus, a Polish HR services expert expands its product offer by recruitment services of premium segment. The second entity is Work Express, a specialist in trans-border exchange of personnel. This transaction shall come into effect within a month, and still in this year Work Service Group is planning acquisition of further two companies. Work Service is consistent in carrying on its dynamic expansion within the Berlin-Moscow-Istanbul triangle, and its ambition is to become the strongest company in the sector of HR services in this part of Europe.

On Monday, an agreement was signed, under which Work Service Group was joined by Antal International in Poland. “The value of the investment by Work Service was PLN 28m, but within a month we will make one more, for PLN 42m.It will be Work Express; and it is just the beginning of our ambitious expansion plans in Central-East Europe.We do deliver on our promise made in January that we would grow dynamically and fast,” says Tomasz Hanczarek, President of Work Service S.A.

Antal International is an international executive recruitment company, with 110 offices in 35 counties worldwide. Antal has operated in Poland since 1996, and is a leader in recruitment of specialists and managers. The company has its offices in Warsaw, Wrocław and Kraków. Work Express operates since 2004, as a certified agency in personnel consultancy and temporary work. Each day, it coordinates the employment of 4 thousand people in Poland, Belgium, France, Germany and Great Britain. Soon, it is to open in Scandinavian markets. WIth revenues of 180m a year, it is a leader in sending employees abroad. Work Service takes over 80% of the company’s shares in the first year, and it will buy out the rest in subsequent years. “We boast the most experience in trans-border exchange of employees, and we have well-established relations with clients in many EU countries, which presents Work Service Group with yet more opportunities.For us, joining forces means we can broaden the spectrum of our activity.We will operate under our own brand, but with new opportunities and even better growth prospects," says Grzegorz Koziołek, Vice President and General Director of Work Express.

These two acquisitions make a very important step in the company's development.
